Day 1: Arrival in Bujumbura – Transfer to the Hotel
After checking in at the Bujumbura Airport, you will be picked up and taken to the Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika. Depending on when you arrive, you can continue with a city tour of Bujumbura, which includes stops at The Explorers Memorial, a massive rock in the suburbs of the city that honours the meeting of explorers Livingstone and Stanley; the Unity monument and the mausoleum dedicated to Independence heroes; and Belvedere Hill, which provides stunning views of the city and Lake Tanganyika.

Day 2: Karera Waterfalls – Source of Nile – Gishora Drum Sanctuary
Transfer to Rutana to witness the breathtaking Karera waterfalls and the Nile source in Rutovu after breakfast at 7:00 a.m. See a collection of Burundian artefacts and antiquities at Gitega National Museum, as well as the Gishora Drum Sanctuary.
