Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After breakfast, meet our tour guide and travel via the Masaka – Mbarara highway to the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. En route, stop at the Equator for picture ops. Lunch will be served at the Agip Motel in Mbarara town. Proceed to Kisoro town after that, arriving at your resort in time for dinner and an overnight stay.
Accommodation: Mount Gahinga Lodge, Kisoro Traveler’s Tourist Hotel.

Day 2: Mgahinga Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for the briefing on the mountain gorillas in the mist. This park only has one gorilla family, therefore your eight-person group will go into the forest to look for the mountain gorillas at the park’s slopes, where you may get an excellent view and take memorable photos and videos. Have lunch back at the lodge following your transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After eating breakfast, proceed to the Bwindi Forest National Park for another gorilla trek. Upon arrival, you will receive a briefing, and then your family will enter the jungle together. Once you reach the gorillas, you can take pictures and videos and then return to the park offices to pick up your gorilla trekking certificate. Make your way to Lake Bunyonyi and take in the rolling scenery.

Day 4: Departure.
After breakfast, board the safari car and make your way back, stopping along the way for lunch at Equator’s Flamingo Restaurant. Next, proceed to Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight home.
