Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Serengeti National Park.
Once you are received from the airport, you will be driven approximately 335 kilometres (208 miles) to the Serengeti. The Serengeti extends to Kenya in the north and borders Lake Victoria on the west. You have a drive booked for the afternoon, and you will arrive at the resort in time for lunch.
Accommodation: Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
Meals: (Lunch, Dinner).
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti.
After breakfast, you will go on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. There are plenty of animals to see; around 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles go with the wildebeest in search of new grass. Even in times of low migration, the Serengeti provides some of the most exciting game viewing in all of Africa. There are thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, leopards, cheetahs, three African jackals, spotted hyenas, and a variety of more elusive small predators, such as the stunning serval cat and the aardwolf, which feeds on insects. There are also smaller herds of elephants and giraffes, as well as smaller herds of buffalo. There are also around 500 distinct species of birds, ranging from the massive ostrich and unusual secretary bird seen in wide meadows to the peaceful black eagles that glide above the Lobo Hills.
Accommodation: Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 3: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater to witness a range of animals, such as jackals, rhinos, antelopes, lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and birds. Among the birds observed here are the kori bustard, blacksmith plover, cattle eagle, vulture, flamingos in the Crater Lake, stork, bats, huge vulture, holy ibis, and long-necked heron. In the afternoon, you will go on a walking safari along the crater rim.

After breakfast, you head to Tarangire National Park. As soon as you get here, you’ll embark on a game drive. There are herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland, and up to 300 elephants. The biggest concentration of species outside of the Serengeti habitat can be found there, making it a delicious feast for predators. It is also the only place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope, such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and the rare long-necked gerenuk, can be regularly spotted.
