Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Serengeti National Park.
Our guide will pick you up at the designated spot in Arusha or Moshi, drive you through the beautiful Masai villages, and then take you into Serengeti National Park. We plan to reach the national park in time for lunch at the lodge and an afternoon game drive, during which we hope to spot a variety of species, including warthogs, cheetahs, lions, and leopards. They are the original occupants of Tanzania’s oldest habitat, the Serengeti areas. Return for supper and stay the night.

Day 2: Game Drive in Serengeti.
You will travel through the wonderful game trails in the park on this day, giving you up-close looks at many wildlife species. At 6:30 am East African time, when animals are usually more active, early game drives start. Buffaloes, elands, elephants, impalas, zebras, wildebeests, and warthogs are among the animals you might observe. We’ll go on an afternoon game drive after lunch, where you can view even more animals, like black crows, ostriches, lions, marauding eagles, and cheetahs. You will spend the night and dinner back at the lodge.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Cultural Experience.
You will go to the national park to continue looking for any animals that we might have missed the day before after our early morning game drives. With any luck, we will see more wildlife throughout our two to six hours of driving across the well-spread game routes within the park. We will return to the lodge after lunch for a visit with the Masai people, who will dance, sing, and tell us about their history and culture.

Day 4: Hot Air Balloon Safari Experience.
Take a hot air balloon safari in the national park after breakfast. Observing the creatures from above is a truly amazing experience. Return to the lodge for lunch and a relaxing afternoon after soaking in the soaring views of the wilderness and the rushing animals below. Savour dinner on your lodge’s balcony as you take in the expansive views of the savannah plains.

Day 5: Departure.
You will travel to Moshi or Arusha for your departure after breakfast, where you will take a brief game drive in the park.
