Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park

Start your 6 Days Gorilla Trekking Rwanda Safari by leaving the capital city of Kigali and travelling to Akagera National Park. This will happen after breakfast at your Kigali hotel. You will go for two to three hours in a luxurious 4×4 safari car. Get to Akagera National Park early, check into the opulent safari lodge of your choosing, have lunch and then have a boat ride or launch around Lake Ihema in the afternoon. This thrilling water sport lasts for two to three hours and offers amazing views of hippos, snorting crocodiles, water fowl, and many other species.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise.

After an early breakfast, depart your safari lodge for a fulfilling early game drive across Akagera National Park’s northern region. Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast in the morning, depart from your posh safari lodge. Travel approximately four hours by car from Akagera National Park to Volcanoes National Park in Northwestern Rwanda.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
