It’s truly an amazing drive, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape as you go from flat fields to rolling, steep hills. Eat lunch at Mbarara while travelling, then continue on to Bwindi, arriving in the late afternoon. Arrive to your chosen lodge; whichever lodging you select, you’ll experience the park’s atmosphere and scenery along with the mesmerizing sounds of running water and birds singing in the dense foliage.

After that, you’ll begin by making sure you have enough water to drink, sturdy shoes, a jacket, and a walking stick. It’s a dream come true to see gorillas in person since you’ll get to witness the entertaining young ones being fed by silverbacks, other gentle giants, and playful young ones.
Take as many pictures as you like without using the flash on your camera. Return to your lodge later and relax. You have the option of continuing to unwind at the lodge or going on a stroll around the Batwa community in the evening, which will allow you to meet the locals, discover how they live, and see them perform traditional music and dances.
