Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
This journey begins with an early morning pickup by a company representative from the airport or a hotel in Kigali, after which you will be transferred to the region of Musanze, home to Volcanoes National Park. Take part in a Kigali City Tour en route to the park, which includes a tour of the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site. As soon as you arrive, check into your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Gorilla Guardians Village Visit.
You should have breakfast and arrive at the Kinigi Park offices by 7:00 AM in time for the morning briefing on the code of conduct for trekking with mountain gorillas. Once you’ve located the animals, pay close attention to their activity and document it with pictures and videos to preserve this incredible encounter. Once the starting point has been located, drive back to your resort with your guide. After lunch, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village to learn more about Rwandan traditions and culture.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking – Transfer to Lake Kivu
By 7:00 AM, after eating breakfast, you should be at the Kinigi Park headquarters in time for the morning briefing on the code of conduct for tracking the reticent and entertaining golden monkeys. Once you’ve found the jittery animals, carefully observe their behaviour and record it with photos and videos to capture this amazing experience. Once the starting location has been located, meet your guide and take a journey back to Gisenyi province, which is home to Lake Kivu.

Day 4: Morning Canoe Ride and Departure
Following breakfast, you will embark on an early morning canoe trip to many islands in Lake Kivu, including the renowned Nyamirundi Island, which is renowned for its delicious coffee. After lunch, continue driving back to Kigali, where you will be dropped off at either the international airport or a hotel.
