Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara
After being picked up from your hotel, you will fly to Wilson Airport in Nairobi for a picturesque 50-minute flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Great Rift Valley and the desolate hills below are breathtakingly visible from these tiny aircraft, which typically have 12 to 20 seats. After lunch, you will be driven to the lodge of your choice. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
After having a hot beverage as the sun rises, head out for an early game drive before breakfast to see the animals before the heat of the day gets too much. With black and white rhinos, elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, giraffes, buffalo, antelope, and much more, the diversity of wildlife in the Masai Mara is astounding. After spending the remainder of the morning at leisure, go on another game drive to look for some of the park’s abundant species. You’ll return to the resort as the sun sets.
Day 3: Return to Nairobi – Departure
After having breakfast at your resort, head to the airfield to catch your aircraft back to Nairobi. If requested, there might be time for a final early-morning game drive.
